Swipe Telecom Announced First 3D LIFE Tablet in India for Rs 5,999

California-based Swipe Telecom launched a India's first 7 inch 3D Tablet called 3D LIFE. Bollywood actress Malaika Arora Khan launches the first SWIPE Tablet. There are three range available in market.

1. 7-inch 3D LIFE with 3G support is priced at Rs 5,999.
2. Lightest and slimmest Tabx78 priced at Rs 6,999.
3. 7-inch Tablet with SIM functionality with superfast 1 GB DDR III RAM priced at Rs 8,999.

Swipe Telecom Founder and Chief executive Shripal Gandhi said the dometic tablet PC market was 0.95 million units or Rs 2,200 crore in value last year, but is expected to touch 2.2 million units this year.

The US, the largest tablet market with 20.9 million units sold in 2011, is projected to sell more than twice as much, at 42.5 million, this year. Europe is expected to witness sale of 28.7 million tablets this year.
