Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has announced that they would roll out full language support for Hindi, Tamil and Marathi for their latest Desire C and Desire V Android smartphones and the HTC One Series including One X, One S and One V in India.
According to the company, users can now read and write in Hindi, Tamil and Marathi languages while using the phone’s messaging app, browsing the Internet and accessing Android apps on the Google Play store. In addition, users can also view Bengali script on select applications available on Google Play Store from next month.
HTC is now rolling out Reading and writing capability for Hindi, Tamil and Marathi through an automatic software update over the air for HTC Desire C and Desire V, sold in India.
The HTC One X, HTC One S and HTC One V smartphones would get this feature through an update from August 2012. Bengali language viewing capability would also be available for all these phones from August 2012.
