Chinese mobile phone manufacturer company Huawei has announced that they would launch Ascend G300 and Ascend Y200 Android Smartphones in India this month. The Ascend G300 has 4-inch WVGA ( 800×480 pixels) display and is powered by 1GHz processor. It has 5MP auto focus camera with LED Flash. The Ascend Y200 has 3.5-inch (320×480 pixels) display, 800 MHz processor and 3.2MP camera. Both these phone run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). The Ascend G300 is upgradeable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
Other features include, 3.5mm audio jack, 3G ( G300: HSPA+ 14.4Mbps, Upload 5.76Mbps for the G300, Y200: Download 7.2Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR, GPS / aGPS.
The Ascend G300 has 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 2.4GB user memory, 32GB expandable memory and 1350mAh battery. The Ascend Y200 has 256MB RAM, 512MB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory and 1250 mAh battery.
The price of Huawei Ascend G300 and Y200 would be Rs. 14,990 and Rs. 9,490 respectively and it would launch in India by the end of this month.
