Lenovo Launches World's Slimmest IdeaCentre A720 All-in-One Computer in India for Rs 89,990

Lenovo has launched its latest All-in-one computer called the IdeaCentre A720 in India. Lenovo claims that it is the world’s slimmest All-in-One PC and unique to the product is its foldable 27-inch display which is also equipped with capacitive touch screen technology with support for a 10 multi-touch points, which converts the PC into a tabletop.

Lenovo touts the fact that the A720 is the world’s first All-in-one with a 27-inch frameless display and is just 24.5mm thick.

The All-in-One is powered by Intel's latest and greatest third generation core i7 processor, Nvidia GT 630M with up to 2GB of memory, a 27-inch full HD display with multi-touch, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 1TB of HDD storage or 64GB of SSD storage, integrated stereo speakers and a Blu-ray or DVD-RW drive.

The device will run on Windows 7 and when Windows 8 is launched later this year in October, Lenovo says that the IdeaCentre A720 is fully prepped for it. With the IdeaCentre A720 Lenovo is marrying a svelte design with a power of full fledged workstation and is clearly gunning for the space currently dominated by the 27-inch iMac. While this may not happen till Windows 7 is around, things could change drastically once Windows 8 is launched on October 26. The IdeaCentre A720 will set you back by Rs 89,990.
