INTEX Technologies has launched its first 3.5G data card in India. It is a USB 2.0 device, which offers high-speed 3G wireless connectivity with download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps and up to 5.76 Mbps upload speeds. It is also compatible with GPRS enabled SIM cards on a 2G platform.
The 3.5G services would let you download content at a higher speeds. It allows to access a phone book through the card and send SMS messages. It also supports Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) to check your pre-paid balance. The Dual external antenna provides enhanced signal strength.
It supports micro SD card up to 16 GB and runs on most of the available operating systems- Windows, XP, Vista, Win 7 and Mac OS.
The INTEX 3.5G wireless data card is priced at Rs. 1,800 and would be available at IT and Telecom Channel Partners, INTEX SQUARES retail stores, various hypermarkets and online retail sites across India.
