Intel Powered Smartphone - Motorola RAZR i announced
Google-owned Motorola Mobility with Intel officially announced it's first smartphone - Motorola Razr i - with an Intel processor at an event in London. The Razr i looks similar features as a the Razr M including a edge-to-edge 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) Super AMOLED Advanced display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection but it is powered by a 2GHz single-core Intel processor instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. It is just 8.3 mm thick and weighs 126g.

It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that is upgradeable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by end of 2012, company said.

It comes with an 8MP camera with LED flash and 1080p HD recording and a VGA front-facing camera with 720p HD video recording. The camera can capture 10 shots in a second. It has an aluminium frame and a Kevlar back panel.

The Motorola Razr i is now available for pre-booking in UK from Clove at 285 GBP (~US$439) (342 GBP inc. Tax). The Motorola Razr i is scheduled for an early October release in the UK, France, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico partnering with major carriers including  Orange, T-Mobile, Phones4U, Virgin Media and Tesco.
