Instagram added New Features - Photo Maps, Fast Browsing and More for iOS and Android

Most popular photo sharing apps, Instagram, has updated with many new and unique features. Instagram 3.0 comes with a new layouts that show larger thumbnails when browsing the Explore tab, user profiles, or the hashtag and location sections. 

The app also has a redesigned profile tab, larger text boxes for entering captions, and infinite scrolling that automatically loads more photos when a user reaches the bottom of a page.

Photo Map is the most noticeable change in the latest Instagram. The new feature adds a map that shows where geo-tagged pictures were taken. Photo Map plots previously geo-tagged images, and users can select "Add to Photo Map" to include new pictures. The map is not visible to the public until approved by the user, and users can manually remove an image from being displayed on the map.

Instagram 3.0 is reportedly faster than previous versions. The company says, "On newer devices, you should notice a marked improvement in speed while browsing."
