LG Optimus Vu Phablet launched in India for Rs 34,500

LG Optimus Vu Phablet
The Optimus Vu Phablet (Phone + Tablet) was announced at the MWC in February 2012. According the LG, In March, the device has sold more than 500,000 units in Korea. LG announced in August it would be available soon in globally and now is listed to LG's India website for priced at Rs. 34,500.

LG has put a 5-inch XGA IPS display with 4:3 aspect ratio and 768 x 1024 pixels on the Optimus Vu while the Galaxy Note II features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1280 x 720 pixels.

The Optimus Vu comes with NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The smartphone also sports an 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front camera. The handset runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

  1. A Nexus isn't for everyone. It isn't like a pure Android experience is the end all be all. And, many are not always connected to the point where storage sixe isn't a concern. Either way a potential customer gets herded in one direction or another. Some may be simply free to look elsewhere.
