Google has unveiled its low cost laptop computer which is run on the Google Chrome Web browser operating system in
San Francisco for the $249 (or £229, for those in the UK and Rs. 13,355 for India) and is being made in a partnership with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. This laptop doesn't have a hard drive.

Pre-orders start today at Amazon and PC World, and the laptop includes Google Now integration using Google Drive as a transport and comes with 100GB of free storage for two years. Google hopes to begin accepting online orders at its Play store by this weekend. Also The lower-priced model will go on sale early next week in more than 500 Best Buy stores in the US.
