Sony Xperia ion is coming to AT&T on June 24th at price $99.99

The Sony Xperia Ion that was announced at CES 2012 in January would finally be available on AT&T from 24th June 2012. The global HSPA version of the phone was announced recently. It has 4.55-inch (1280 x 720 pixels ) HD Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and comes with 1.5Ghz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has 12-megapixel auto focus camera with Exmor R for mobile camera sensor with 1080p HD video recording and 1-megapixel 720p HD front-facing camera.

Sony Xperia ion has 4G LTE connectivity, HDMI out ,WiFi, DLNA, NFC with Sony SmartTag support, FM Radio with RDS, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD expansion card slot supports up to 32GB and 1900 mAh battery. It is PlayStation Certified that would let you play PlayStation titles. AT&T customers would get Music Unlimited free for 30 days.

The Sony Xperia Ion would be available in all AT&T channels on 24th June 2012 for $99.99.
