Swedish company, Spotify recently released a mobile streaming radio feature for Apple's iOS devices, and now they launched same feature for Android device available on Google Play Store.
All US users will be able to use the radio function for free, but subscribers based in other countries will only be able to access it if they have premium accounts, Spotify said. Premium accounts cost £9.99 per month and offer ad-free streams.
Spotify users on Android can create radio stations based on songs, artists, albums, or playlists. The feature which works in a way quite similar to Pandora radio. Users can also "save" a song that they want to play later by giving it a thumbs up in the app, which then includes the song in a "Liked from Radio" playlist that's accessible through desktop versions of Spotify.
