World most popular giant, Facebook, is rolling out a new feature that will enable you to automatically upload any images you've taken on your Android phone's camera. So, now users can share new clicked images directly to their private Facebook album. This new auto-upload feature appears to be inspired from the Instant upload on Google+ and Apple's Photostream feature. Facebook has named this feature as "Photo Sync".
To start syncing your photos, make sure you have the latest version of Facebook for Android installed on your phone.
From the Android app:
- Logged in with your Facebook account, hit the main menu button in the top-left.
- Tap Photos
- Tap Sync at the bottom of your photos section.
From your computer:
- Logged in with your Facebook account, hit the main menu button in the top-left.
- Click Photos
- Click Synced From Phone at the top of your photos section. Follow the step-by-step instructions.
You can save upto 2GB of photos per account using the Photo Syncing feature. If you don't want to sync photos when you take them you can also turn off within Facebook for Android.
